Yellow Jacket Area and Curb DI’s
- The Yellow Jacket Drain Inlet Filter is a temporary catch basin insert used to prevent trash, silt and sediment from entering storm drain.
- The yellow webbing secures the filter to the grate and doubles as lifting straps to quickly and easily remove the filter, grates, and all for simple cleaning.
- Yellow Jackets are designed to accommodate rectangular inlets as well as square and round drains.
- The Yellow Jackets have an easily removable foam backer rod that makes the di filter work for either the area drain or the curb inlet drain.
- Available sizes are 2’x2’, 2’x3’ & 2’x4’, in 18” depth. Custom sizes are also available.
- Curb Guard is designed to reduce sediment into curb inlet storm drains.
- It is above ground so the installation and maintenance is faster and easier.
- The grate does not need to be removed so fewer crew are necessary for installation.
- Reusable and has a long life span; made from recyclable HDPE.
- A hydrocarbon absorption jacket can be added.
